Linda Lee | The bar

Linda is chair of the Solicitors Assistance Scheme, which provides advice and assistance to solicitors facing professional and personal difficulties. She is a former President of the Bar.

She is a Commissioner of the Criminal Cases Review Commission, the statutory body responsible for investigating alleged miscarriages of justice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. She is a member of its board of directors, vice-president of the legal entity and president of the stakeholder group.

Linda is a former President of Northamptonshire and the current Co-Chair of the Leicestershire Law Society Board. She leads a small business support group for both companies.

Linda serves as legal chair of the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (General Medical Council), the Taxation Disciplinary Board and the Family Health Services Appeals Unit of the National Health Service Litigation Authority.

She is a panel member for HS2’s Need to Sell program and a member of the licensing committee that hears appeals from the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority.

She is a past president and serving board member of the Medico-Legal Society. Linda is a director of ICLR, a member of its board of directors and a trustee of its pension fund.
