In this podcast from our LGBT+ Lawyers Division, we hear Christos Paphiti, attorney at Sharpe Pritchard, on his views on coming out.
Coming out is something that many who identify as LGBT+ feel compelled to do, sometimes even to legitimize themselves and their identity.
Christos found himself among his siblings – who had been out or were contemplating there – asking if this was something he should do too.
He explores in the discussion how being his authentic self without shame meant he didn’t feel like coming out was a necessary part of solidifying his identity.
Listen to better understand this different and refreshing perspective.
Christos works as a real estate attorney at Sharpe Pritchard, handling a range of commercial real estate transactions for public sector clients.
Christos chairs Sharpe Pritchard’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Pro Bono Committee and is an active member of the firm’s Equality and Diversity Forum where he consults on a variety of topics.
Christos lives in east London, close to his favorite LGBTQ+ spot, the Dalston Superstore.
